Luxury Jersey, an Italian firm that produces high-quality knitted fabrics for designers, ready-to-wear fashion houses, and the luxury sector, has unveiled two new unique fabrics that are made using GOTS-certified organic cotton and EVO by Fulgar bio-based polyamide. The fabrics have high creative and technical content made for stylists and fashion houses.

Along with offering a strong sustainable component, the new Luxury Jersey fabrics are suitable for women’s outerwear. The pierced net effect is obtained through the use of the polyamide interwoven with cotton threads, creating the structure of the mesh.

Luxury Jersey has chosen its established partner Fulgar, the international leader in the man-made fibre market with the production and distribution of polyamide 6.6 and covered elastomers in the textile and technical sector to create these innovative bio-based fabrics.

EVO by Fulgar is an innovative bio-based yarn developed after years of research and study of the highest engineering standards – in terms of production but also environmental and social. These are made from castor oil, are not used for food – they are a totally renewable resource that does not require large amounts of water or take up land that can be used for agricultural purposes.
