MOSCOW – Prices for paraxylene in Asia rose on Monday amid increased demand for fast supplies, according to ICIS , citing market participants.

According to ICIS, prices were USD904-906 per tonne, CFR, the main ports of Taiwan / China, which is USD28 higher compared to May 24.

The July supply transactions were at USD893-907 per tonne, CFR Taiwan / China’s main ports, compared to USD876 per tonne, CFR Taiwan / China’s main ports on May 24th. Paraxylene prices Asia PET

Chinese futures contracts for TFK for September rose by 2.45% on Monday, while sales in the polyester manufacturing sector rose above 100%.

According to Scan Report Company Market Report, in Russia, the estimated consumption of PET in January-March of the current year increased by 21% and amounted to 179.05 thousand tons.

In March, the total estimated consumption was 64.35 thousand tons, which is 6% higher than the previous year.
