-Automotive Parts Remanufacturing Market to Gain a Stronghold by 2026

Automotive parts remanufacturing markets; comprises one of those selected markets which extend in a reverse ratio with the economy. Giving a less expensive option in contrast to buying brand new automotive parts, remanufacturing in general gain traction when customer expending drops. On the other hand, in a quickly developing economy then again, purchasers have a tendency to pick novel products over remanufactured ones and thus, the market for remanufactured automotive parts encounters a dive.

Monetary advantages will remain the essential aspect boosting the market. Reliably vigorous requirement for remanufactured alternators and starters will moreover keep on propelling the sales over the approaching years. Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive

-Boris Johnson’s threat of a no-deal Brexit will not break EU unity

The UK government should instead seek an agreement that removes the need for the backstop altogether

No matter what Boris Johnson or his new Vote Leave cabinet threaten – and the expectation in Brussels is that no-deal planning will be ramped up in an attempt to intimidate other EU countries – be in no doubt: there isn’t time to limit the damage of a sudden severance from the world’s largest trading bloc this Halloween.

Unless a further extension is requested, or article 50 is revoked by 31 October, when the current extension of UK membership expires, a dramatic shock awaits the global economy, and we all stand to lose. The few who may prosper are the wealthy bankers and hedge fund managers who have already bet on chaos.

-New Opportunities to Fuel the Expansion of Bio Based Paraxylene Market

In recent years, the global market has shown a strong acceptance for bio-based chemicals and materials in the light of growing considerations over sustainability.

Paraxylene is an aromatic hydrocarbon compound, derived from benzene, and is colorless, toxic, highly flammable and hazardous in nature.

Owing to its pernicious properties, various government and environmental organizations have enforced regulations for the development of bio-based paraxylene (Bio-PX).

Bio based paraxylene is made of renewable raw materials, such as glucose, starch, cellulose and vegetable oils. Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive

-Are Fabric Buildings the Automotive Industry’s Ideal Storage Solution?

Auto parts manufacturers face many challenges in today’s low margin, high volume environment. Warehousing components and tooling is a significant cost that falls under scrutiny more than ever before. Options for expansion of storage space today include prefabricated and custom-built solutions using several different materials and technologies. Fabric buildings are a growing segment, but traditional fabric buildings are often small-scale and can be unnecessarily costly when factoring in environmental controls, foundations and construction.  Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive

-European recycling sector likely to miss ’25 PET bottle recycling target

The European recycling industry is going to miss a 2025 target for recycling PET bottles, unless there is a reversal of the slowing growth rate in recycling, according to a new study by ICIS. The study also found evidence that bottle-deposit schemes are working better as an incentive than market prices for recycled material.

In March, the European Parliament adopted the Commission-proposed Single-Use Plastics (SUP) Directive to increase the recycling of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), the main component in plastic bottles and containers for packaging foods and beverages and personal care products. This development was already supported by a range of international brands through their own recycling pledges.

-Prices Down for Polyolefins & PET

Going into the second half of the year, prices were falling for PP, PET and PE.

Prices of PP and PET may have bottomed out in July, owing to seasonal inventory buildup for the former and upward pressure from feedstock costs for the latter.

In contrast, prices of PE were expected to drop farther, owing to a decline in global prices and ample supplies. Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive

Meanwhile prices of PS and PVC were moving upward, driven by benzene feedstock in the case of PS and suppliers’ claims of tight supply of PVC.

However, in the case of both resins, all other key drivers pointed to flat to lower tabs.

-EIA: U.S. crude oil production continues to set records

U.S. crude oil production in each of the first five months of 2019 showed increases over their 2018 levels, with April 2019 establishing a new monthly record.

Production grew the most in the Permian region and the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) initially expected the decline in crude oil prices between October and December 2018 to slow U.S. crude oil production growth for the first half of 2019.

However, several factors have contributed to increases in the U.S. production forecast. First, crude oil prices began rising in early 2019, partially offsetting the price drop seen at the end of 2018. Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive

In addition, crude oil prices in Midland, Texas, rose faster than the U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI), which is priced in Cushing, Oklahoma.

-Oil Has a Shale Problem, Not an Oil Problem

The earnings erosion at Concho Resources underscores investors’ concerns are with spending on shale, not spending in general

Concerns about shale have roared in recently like a Texas tornado—sudden and violent.

Permian Basin oil-and-gas driller Concho Resources CXO -22.23% posted a 25% drop in adjusted second-quarter earnings Wednesday night despite a year-over-year increase of more than 40% in oil and natural-gas volumes. The results sent Concho’s shares plunging by over one-fifth on Thursday. Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive

-U.S. Auto Sales Hold Steady in July

Strong truck sales were estimated to carry General Motors to a sales gain in July, according to analysts.

Sales of new vehicles held their own during July with help from cuts in interest rates and increased marketing efforts by carmakers, that are finding it more difficult to gain ground.

Nevertheless, Toyota, Honda, Subaru and Hyundai all posted modest gains. Detroit’s automakers, General Motors, Ford and Fiat Chrysler, no longer report monthly sales totals. However, analysts estimated that both GM and FCA also posted sales increased during the month on the strength of truck sales. Petrochemicals Biodegradable Automotive
