-TAIF plans to launch a bioplastic plant at Alabuga in 2021
In the SEZ “Alabuga” they plan to launch production of bioplastics in the third quarter of 2021, reports Tatar-Inform .
The initiator of the project was TAIF holding together with Italian producer of PHAs-bioplastics Investire Italis Srl (Bio-on).
“In the SEZ Alabuga, the company plans to carry out the production of PHA-bioplastics in the amount of 10 thousand tons per year. The start-up period is the third quarter of 2021,” the press service stressed.
The amount of funding for the project, according to the business plan, will be 9.7 billion rubles. The plant will occupy an area of 7 hectares, it will create 90 jobs.
