MOSCOW – The Alternative Plastic Plant, together with Bashkir State University, has begun the production of plastic products from recycled polymeric materials, reports Kremlin .

Polypropylene is poorly resistant to low temperatures and is not able to decompose in vivo. The new material will be created with the addition of modified additives of the second polymer, natural components of plant origin and strength modifiers. The project is implemented with state support in the framework of Decree No. 218 and can significantly reduce the costs of non-renewable petrochemical raw materials in Russia.

In the near future it is planned to organize a high-tech production for the production of environmentally friendly material, which is based on more than 250 different machines and machines for polymer processing. By 2020, it is planned to produce products in the amount of more than 7 thousand units.

The project is being implemented as part of Decree No. 218, aimed at the development of scientific and industrial cooperation in Russia. The enterprise highly appreciates the potential of the project. So among potential consumers of products more than 2 thousand large wholesale bases of federal and regional significance.

Earlier it was reported that the Tver Secondary Polymers Plant (TZVP is part of the EcoTechnology group of companies) has launched the launch of a new brand of secondary recycled polyethylene EcoPlenTM. The EcoPlenTM production technology uses the double degassing stage, which makes it an analogue of the more expensive primary imported polymer.
