A UK consortium led by Watercycle Technologies has secured more than £3 million in funding to develop the ReCAM battery recycling project. The initiative aims to create a domestic solution for refining lithium-ion battery black mass into reusable cathode materials, strengthening the UK’s electric vehicle supply chain and supporting a circular battery economy.
