Mitsubishi Polyester Film GmbH, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Europe GmbH, has officially launched a new PET film production line in Wiesbaden, Germany. The investment, completed after a two-year construction phase, significantly strengthens the company’s position in the European PET film market.

With the commissioning of the new line at the beginning of 2026, the total production capacity at the Wiesbaden site rises to 75,000 tons of HOSTAPHAN™ PET film per year.
