Benzene is a raw material for the production of styrene, which, in turn, is the main raw material component for the production of polystyrene (PS).
According to the ICIS-MRC Price Review , Russian polystyrene producers will leave selling prices at the level of March in April. Due to the introduction of restrictions on movement on regional roads and the need to load cars no more than 10 tons next month, the price of polystyrene, taking into account the delivery to the processor’s warehouse, can grow by 2,000-3,000 rubles. per ton.
