German packaging major Klöckner Pentaplast has launched a new sustainable range of expanded polypropylene packaging for the food service and foodservice sector.

Unveiled earlier this month, KP claims its Infinity line is  fully recyclable, keeps food hotter for longer, is  microwaveable, lightweight, durable, water resistant and resistant to acids, alkalis and hot oils.

The roadmap will be introduced “by 2020”, as part of the 2018-2030 roadmap towards zero single-use plastics, according to reports by The Malaysian Reserve.
