–October MEG price in Europe agreed at EUR26 per tonne higher than September
The contract price of monoethylene glycol (MEG) for October in Europe was finally agreed at EUR632 per tonne, which is EUR26 per tonne higher than the previous month, ICIS reported citing confirmation from the second buyer and second seller.
The MEG contract price for October shipments was agreed on terms of delivery of FD NWE (with delivery to North-West Europe) with a significant delay, i.e. a few weeks after the first approval.

The contract prices of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in the US in November fell by 3 cents per pound (USD66 per ton) amid weakening demand and cooling, ICIS reports.

Spot and contract resin prices followed a downtrend amid economic uncertainty caused by the protracted trade war between the US and China.

-Honeywell UOP Supplies Technology to PDH Plant in Texas
Process technology and solutions firm Honeywell UOP is supplying its C3 Oleflex technology to Enterprise Products Partners LP for use in the firm’s propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in Mont Belvieu, TX.
Under the arrangement, Honeywell UOP will provide Oleflex technology licensing to the plant, as well as engineering, catalysts, adsorbents, services, and equipment, according to a company press release issued Wednesday. The new Enterprise facility, known as PDH 2, will have a capacity of 750,000 mt/yr of polymer-grade propylene.
