-Nylon Yarn to Witness Increase in Revenues by 2018 – 2026

A yarn can be produced from naturally by medium of plants, insects, and animals or synthesized artificially. It is a continuous assembly of fibers and signifies a core ingredient in the textile industry. Yarns can be characterized based on physical structure and performance. Synthetic yarns are widely used for commercial purposes owing to their high tenacity and resilient characteristics.

Nylon yarn is a synthetic material yarn that resembles the appearance and texture of various natural fibers.

Nylon yarns are strong, flexible, and generally cheaper than natural fiber yarns. Nylon is transformed into monofilament, multifilament, or microfilament yarns.

These yarns possess high stretch recovery, excellent impact strength, good thermal conduction, high temperature resistant, high chemical resistance, and high durable properties.

Nylon yarns are used for various applications; in terms of value, lower range nylon yarns are used in the manufacture of garments, while higher end nylon yarns are employed in industrial applications.

-Amann receives Cradle to Cradle certified Gold certificate

In January 2020, Amann Group received Cradle to Cradle certified Gold certification for the technical cycle for its new Lifecycle product line. Cradle to Cradle certified products are designed for complete composting (biological cycle) or pure recycling (technical cycle) and enable a consistently closed recycling management without any waste.

Amann Group was the first sewing thread producer worldwide to receive the Cradle to Cradle certified gold certification. Chemicals Carbon Fiber Bioplastic

As one of the most resource-intensive economy sectors, the textile industry is facing fundamental change. In order to stem the flood of global textile waste and to meet their responsibility towards the environment and people, textile manufacturers and fashion labels are increasingly relying on closed-loop recycling management according to the Cradle to Cradle principles.

-Spotlight on: Daimler selects the best internal environmental initiatives: Environmental Leadership Award 2020

Environmental protection, sustainability, resource preservation–it’s not only society as a whole that is discussing alternatives, opportunities to make savings, and different approaches

Environmental protection, sustainability, resource preservation–it’s not only society as a whole that is discussing alternatives, opportunities to make savings, and different approaches. Within Daimler AG, too, such issues continue to grow in importance all over the world. Proof of this can be found in the Environmental Leadership Award, which was initiated in 2000 and is this year being presented for the twelfth time. 146 projects from 1200 participants in 30 countries were submitted last year during the application phase – almost twice as many as last time. -Why Brexit is an opportunity for Turkey

Brexit, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson likes to say, is done. The British have about a year to negotiate the deal that will determine their future relationship with the EU. The form Brexit takes will have significant repercussions for third parties, Turkey being only one of the many. I believe Brexit to be rather fortunate for Turkey. Let me explain what I mean by that.  Chemicals Carbon Fiber Bioplastic

Nearly half of Turkish exports go to the EU. Without the U.K., the EU’s share in Turkish exports will decline by more than 10 percent. Also, around 70 percent of our trade with the U.K., from textiles to electronics, is probably going to be hit directly or indirectly. This is because the current framework of the EU Customs Union has been the major determinant of our trade structure with the U.K.

-Fraunhofer Society, TUM produce polyamide sustainably

A team of scientists from the Fraunhofer Society and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has produced a new polyamide family from a byproduct of cellulose production. This opens the way for a more sustainable economy with bio-based materials. Polyamides are important plastics which have been made predominantly from crude oil up until now.

Polyamides can be found in ski bindings and in cars or items of clothing. Commercially, they have been made predominantly from crude oil up until now. There are just a few “green” alternatives, such as polyamides based on castor oil. Chemicals Carbon Fiber Bioplastic
