Plastic Bottle Water harmful Senior NASA Scientist Dr Om Prakash Pandey has warned that drinking water from plastic bottles is very harmful, even not less than poison, and called upon people to use banana leaves to get rid of the poisonous process.

Dr Pandey stated this while inaugurating the felicitation programme of the Happy Living Foundation here on Sunday.

Presiding over the programme, Arya Samaj Odisha president Aryakuamar Jnanendra said science has been linked to religion in the Indian culture. Giving an example, he said the peepal tree, which releases oxygen for 24 hours, has been stated as the abode of Alaxmi and linked to the religion so that people will not destroy the tree.

Endowment Commissioner Biraja Prasad Dash discussed about importance of Vastu and astrology in human’s life. Similarly, Dr Bimalendu Mohanty and Dr Badrinath Patnaik highlighted about importance of Moti Sankha.

At the outset, Happy Living Foundation founder Dr Manoj Kumar Lenka delivered the welcome address. the programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Bibekananda Patra.

On the occasion, Dr Aryakumar Jnanendra as a man of culture, Dr Badrinath Patnaik as educationist and Ramesh Chandra Behera as administrator were felicitated. Besides, Tapas Das, Jitendra Sahoo, Ambika Prasad Patnaik, Akshaya Kumar Das and Promoles Mahanty as news reporters and noted astrologist Dr Kushal Sen and Dr Kuntal Mukuti were honouored.

Among others, Lelin Kumar Lenka, Santosh Kumar Lenak and Kailash Nath Mohapatra coordinated the programme.
