Turkish petrochemical and plastics producer Petkim has increased its polypropylene, polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride list prices, a company source confirmed Friday.
The increases were a response to the rises in European June contract prices for upstream ethylene and propylene, the source said.
The European June ethylene contract price settled up Eur63/mt on the month to Eur1,150/mt FD NWE, while the European June propylene contract price rose Eur80/mt on the month to Eur1,032/mt FD NWE.
Petkim increased all PP grade list prices by $30/mt on June 1, with its PP raffia list price rising to $1,705-$1,715/mt FCA Aliaga as a result.
LDPE and HDPE list prices were also raised $30/mt, with the LDPE H2-8 list price up to $1,680/mt FCA Aliaga and the HDPE film grade list price up to $1,480/mt FCA Aliaga.
Petkim’s PVC list price also rose $30/mt to $1,360/mt FCA Aliaga.
