Sidel introduces Aseptic Combi Predis solution for beverage producers

Sidel, a manufacturer of packaging equipment for liquids, has introduced a new solution designed to help beverage producers to produce aseptically both still beverages and carbonated soft drinks in PET bottles.
The new versatile solution, known as Aseptic Combi Predis, is intended to provide high degree of production flexibility and productivity.
Capable of reducing costs and environmental impact, the new solution is suitable for producing high and low-acid sensitive beverages such as teas, juices, UHT white milk, soya milk, etc, in PET bottle formats ranging from 200ml to 2L.
Sidel sensitive products vice-president Guillaume Rolland said: “By reducing total cost of ownership and enhancing end-product quality, the versatile Aseptic Combi Predis helps ensure that the beverage business remains sustainable.
“This version is benefitting from all the practical advantages of the proven Sidel Aseptic Combi Predis platform.
“Now accounting for more than 100 references worldwide, this industry-leading platform has already received Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval and is validated for low acid manufacturing and commercial distribution in the United States market.”
The new solution is equipped to produce variety of products efficiently, with increased flexibility, reliability and product integrity, Sidel said.
Capable of being integrated with the new Capdis Multilanes, the Aseptic Combi Predis provides enhanced productivity, efficiency and safety with an aseptic blowing process. It also eliminates the need for blow-moulder sterilization.
The Capdis Multilanes is a dry cap sterilization system designed to handle multiple cap designs including flat and sport caps as well as diameters without manual changeover.
