Union Ettlinger open house
On February 21 and 22 at the headquarters of Union in San Vittore Olona (near Milan), Union and Ettlinger are holding an open house event dedicated to the production of PET sheet from recycled post-consumer bottle flakes. Technologies PET processing
A production line unique in its category is being exhibited live, featuring a corotating twin-screw extruder ZP 112/52D with 4 degassing sections, and a single-screw extruder TR 90/44 d with 2 degassing sections, both from Union and both equipped with the new Ettlinger ECO 250 automatic filter. This production line, which is destined to the US market, has an output capacity of 1,500 kg/hour and produces sheets in widths up to 1,650 mm and thickness from 0.15 to 1.6 mm with A-B-A structure, and is equipped with a hydraulic horizontal calender.
The ECO 250 filter, with a fineness of 80 microns, is a fully automated system that can reach up to 3,000 kg capacity depending on the application. Technologies PET processing
Over the two days of the event, visitors have the opportunity to see live demonstration of the complete line and take part in presentations about
the technologies involved.
